At first glance, enterprise software development, holistic life practices, and speculative fiction might seem like completely separate disciplines. Underneath, they are driven by the exact same pursuit: understanding, optimizing, and balancing complex architecture.
My name is Jay, and Studio Suki is the multidisciplinary lab where these practices intersect.
Code: Deterministic Utility
My foundation is in high-end software craftsmanship. Operating as a Principal Software Engineer, I specialize in cloud-native applications, ai-driven workflows, and terminal-centric utility. I design robust digital environments capable of handling immense data complexity while remaining entirely deterministic and friction-free.
Balance: Sustainable Practice
A system is only as good as its ability to sustain itself under pressure. As a Certified Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Health Counselor, I apply this same structural logic to human resilience. Balance requires grounded intentionality - from utilizing the quiet focus of 5:00 AM Vata time to start the day, to fostering community connection through local events here in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. The goal is to integrate traditional, physical perspective into high-velocity modern routines.
Ink: Structural Imagination
Narrative is simply world-building with a different set of rules. Exploring systems through creative prose and interactive play is the untamed spark of the studio. Currently, this involves mapping out a parallel-universe science fiction novel, and architecting the internal mechanics of the Bureau of Labor and Universal Deployment (BLUD) for ongoing tabletop narrative design. It is the creative sandbox where unconstrained imagination and strict structural logic meet.
